Dr. Alan D. Beyerchen, associate professor of history at Ohio State University, discussed the role of Dr. Werner Heisenberg and other nuclear physicists under Hitler’s regime.
The lecture, which was free and open to the public, was part of a series of events developed by the Johnston Center to explore the themes of Michael Frayn’s award-winning play, “Copenhagen.”
The Hillard Gold '39 lecture series honors alumnus Hillard Gold and is made possible by the gift of James Gold '72 and Jonathan Gold '75, who established the series to honor their late father.
