Student Respones to the Connected Leanring Program

Students already enrolled in the program have this to say about their experiences in the CLP:

“From my experience, Connected Learning is a fantastic program. I am in the State of the Union Project with Bernard and Ben, and they are really great leaders. They haven't been overloading us with work, but they're there when I want to talk with them. They've been great about letting us take leadership roles (I am pitching, planning, and organizing two speakers for second semester, and am meeting with Dean Kendall about them tomorrow), and are always available when I feel like I need direction, or want to bounce an idea around. This program is exactly what I had hoped it would be, and I feel like I'm already learning a lot about the University, and getting involved in ways

“I didn't play that big a part in bringing our first speaker,Patrick Guerriero, which is fine since it allowed me to observe and learn how things are done. I am currently working on bringing someone for next semester with others.  So far things are going slow since there are still a lot of other priorities, but I am confident that it will be a success. Both mentors are open to working and helping me achieve this task, and with their guidance I am sure that it will happen.”

"I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate programs like CLP for making my first semester of college so fulfulling. The Connected Learning Program has given me a chance to explore my passions beyond what any class or extracurricular activity here has offered. It
stands out as the best learning experience I've had all year, and I hope other students recognize the range of interests they can pursue through
this program."
